May 2013 Soiree Spotlight: Danielle Aucoin Photography

Introducing a sponsor of A Wedding Soiree, Danielle Aucoin says that she is “super sentimental” and because of this, it is important to her that every photograph she takes has meaning and memories wrapped in it. She gets to know each of her clients so that she is able to capture their memories the way THEY envision them. Danielle Aucoin Photography will be at the bridal show introducing brides to a new type of photography for weddings. It is called “story-telling” photography and is an in-depth look at the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself. The special moments of these few days are captured in a journalistic, candid fashion and are put in a customized album. A photographer will be with you the day before the wedding, the day of the wedding, and the day after. Brides may also choose to have two other days previous to their wedding to have memories captured (dress fitting, bridesmaid luncheon, etc).

Jan 2013 Baton Rouge Bridal Show Preview

This weekend was N-joy! Events’ semi-annual Baton Rouge Bridal Show! It was a smashing success! Held at the River Center in downtown Baton Rouge, we had over 50 vendors helping brides plan their weddings! From our first count, we had almost 400 brides attend the bridal show and almost 900 people total! We were so happy to see so many smiling brides come through our doors!

We want to thank all brides and guests who came to the show! We hope it helped you in your wedding planning process. We also want to thank all of our lovely vendors who participated in this show! We couldn’t have done it without you! We appreciate all of your hard work in helping us make this the best show possible as well as all of your beautiful booths!

January Bridal Show Vendor Spotlight: Holiday Inn Baton Rouge South

Holiday Inn South is the largest full service hotel in the Baton Rouge area with 334 guest rooms and over 11,000 square feet of meeting space.

All of their guest rooms have been completely renovated as of late 2010, and their Meeting facilities/lobby were renovated in August 2011. Their guest room renovations include the addition of two Executive Levels, with upgraded amenities. All of their 334 rooms have new beds, mattresses, furniture, linens, drapes, etc… Their Banquet facilities include 13 meeting rooms and a full catering service. They can accommodate groups from 10 to 450 and have received impeccable reviews on their Customer Service.
