Our inspiration for July’s bridal show booth decor was drawn from various wedding blogs and a lot of Pinterest searching.  With the show taking place in the summer, we felt it only appropriate to use bright, fun colors to liven up the space.  We brought in blues, pinks, yellows, bright greens, oranges and brought them all together with a base of white with gold accents.

In keeping with the fun, springy theme, we used elements like parasols, ribbons, and fun linens!  They made the space whimsical, which I guess you could say is exactly how we felt about designing it!

Round Table

We used a round table to create a tablescape complete with gorgeous gold, square chargers under simple white square plates.  We fell in love with the “lotus candle holders” atop the place setting.  Tipped in gold, their sheer leaves reflect the candle light beautifully!

The lovely flowers were designed by A Cottage Path.  The colors complemented the many bright shades and patterns in the ribbon backdrop hanging behind the table.   Our gold square sequined linen accented the table as a runner.

Candles surrounded the table and added a little soft, white light to our bright atmosphere.

One of our favorite parts of the booth was our ribbon backdrop.  We tied strips of bright, fun fabrics to a wooden dowel which we hung with fishing wire.  It creates a backdrop for a small space, perfect for a cake table or photo booth!

 

I think our favorite part of our whole booth were these super fun paper parasols that we hung upside down to create a ceiling of bright colors.  We used a mix of scalloped and round with colors that matched the colors in the ribbon backdrop.

Chairs

In order to create the feeling of a wedding within our booth, we set up chairs in rows with an aisle down the middle.  And because we like to do fun, crazy things, we did two NEW things with the chairs!  Our satin and polyester chair sashes were tied in an unexpected, diagonal fashion.  We added trailing ribbons in a myriad of colors to other chairs.  To complete the look, the aisle was lined with mason jars full of flowers!
