Wedding DIY: Eggplant, Pearls, & Lace

We don't know about you, but we're tired of seeing the same ole vintage look that brides lean towards right now. How about mixing it up! Add an unexpected color, like a deep, rich eggplant. Or instead of using traditional flowers, incorporate dried boxwood wreaths that double as name place cards! Today, we show you how to think outside the vintage, aged crate and add a fun twist to your vintage wedding. This lace runner is just adorable, especially when it adds a scalloped edge to your table! Decor for the N-joy Booth – Winter 2014 BR Bridal Show

We called the decor for our booth at the Winter 2014 Baton Rouge Bridal Show Rustic Glam. We framed the space with some gorgeous cream spandexy draping and added some string lights (from Event Rental) and our own vintage cream chandelier with dripping crystals for ambiance. Beautiful, huge hydrangeas and greenery acted as drapery ties. We brought in a rustic touch with an AMAZING dark stained wood table (available for rental) and some of Event Rental's wooden chairs. We always love a great Read more [...]

St. Francisville Vintage Plantation Wedding, Part 2

N-joy Events recently had the pleasure of working with a beautiful bride and a few great vendors to coordinate an amazing wedding! The festivities took place in St. Francisville, Louisiana at a gorgeous southern plantation home. Heather and John were married on a beautiful, fall Saturday evening.  For her wedding, Heather wanted to focus on soft, vintage details.  Although the ceremony took place outside, we were transported to a fantasy room with a gorgeous chandelier hanging from the moss ceiling.
