Abandoned Fort Elopement Inspiration Posted in Uncategorized, Wedding Inspiration on October 18, 2016 by N-Joy Events Big weddings with all of your family and friends present can be fun and memorable, but they can also be expensive and overwhelming to plan. Elopements, especially, destination elopements are becoming more popular. Almost a year ago we took a trip down to the outskirts of New Orleans and put together this destination elopement inspiration shoot with some of our favorite local wedding vendors. The backdrop was a long abandoned fort once used to protect New Orleans from invaders by water. We teamed up with amazing New Orleans wedding photographer Lance Nicoll who took our vision and knocked it out of the park with these images. Elopements are a wonderful to celebrate your love in a private setting. You, your husband, an officiant, and a photographer are present while you commit to each other. Elopements can even include close friends and family members if you choose. With fewer people, eloping is a perfect way to get married exactly the way you want to without worrying about the many needs and wants of guests, family, or others who may become involved. This may expand your budget to be able to head to your dream destination to elope. Celebrate just the two of you with a honeymoon kickoff of cake and champagne cheers. Have a small dinner with the few people who were able to attend or throw a grand reception when you get home to celebrate your elopement. Special thanks to these wonderful vendors who put this shoot together. Amazing work from all who were involved.
